Hey everyone!

It’s getting to be too much to keep up this site (blog) as well as Collected Sounds proper (www.collectedsounds.com) and the Collected Sounds blog all at the same time (I also have a personal blog and other things I keep updated). So I have decided to smoosh it all into one.

I will have a special section of the blog set aside for house concerts and events I’m sponsoring so it will be easy to find. It will just be on a new URL. I will not be updating anything at this URL anymore and I am closing all comments (it’s mostly spam anyway). so come on over to the “real” site and read. discuss, etc.

I have been waiting for years to get Terami back here but this is the first time in 5 years she’s done a tour that has brought her through this part of the country. So I am very excited to have her back.
Her new record is freaking amazing and what I’ve been hearing about her shows this tour is stellar. You don’t want to miss this…

The Ben Arthur show was a lot of fun. He put on a great show and has some really fun fans. We had a great time!

Sorry to inform you that the house concert we had scheduled with Kyler England had to be canceled. We will reschedule it, I promise. We’re just not sure when yet. It’s all my fault…my job decided to send me out of town at the last minute and I won’t get home until late late on Friday evening. (Dang those airlines that don’t have many choices for flights).

We have a bunch of other shows, including Ellery at Aura on April 6th (that same weekend). That will be a blast, I am sure.

Also Kyler will be playing at Gingko Thursday April 3rd. Go see her!! I wish I could!

Hi all
Just wanted to remind you that we have a show this coming weekend. Mary Bue will be performing at the house for the first house since Vienna Teng back in November. So…first concert of 2008!

I know many of you have already signed up for this and for hat I am super grateful. But we’ve still got space, so if you want to bring more folks, please do. Those of you who have not reserved yet but want to come let me know! You know the drill, I’m not going to paste a bunch of links…just one:

Also I have just confirmed a show for June that I am over the moon about. I’m keeping it a secret for now. Yes, it’s that good. I will announce it at the show on Saturday. If you don’t come to the show I guess you’ll just have to wait until I make the online announcement (how’s that for bribery?)

I will tell you it’s someone we’ve had before but not for several years. It’s an artist that I get a lot of requests for. OK that’s enough hints. The show will be June 6th. I hope it’s not too close to the Rachael Sage show we have May 31, I really want you to come to both. I was not about to turn down this artist just because we already had a show a week earlier. So mark June 6th on your calendars. I can hardly contain myself.

Hope to see you all on Saturday, the 22nd. Remember also we are hosting Kyler England in April. April 4th to be exact. Right now we have lots of room, but she’s got a very big following here so as word gets out, it will likely fill up so [reserve now].

Anyway, I know I won’t shut up about Mary Bue, but she really is fabooo…
So I got her to do a houseconcert…soon like, too.

I don’t usually book shows with only a month of promo time, but I am confident that we can pack the house for Mary. I know I can count on all of you to come, right?

It’s March 22…YES of 2008, this year!

Far enough away that you have not already made plans, close enough that you can plan ahead so come on…

The show was fantastic. Mary was wonderful and we all had a great time. Mary and I are now talking about doing a house concert here maybe even as early as MARCH!!!
